One of the most desired recognitions by restaurants is the Michelin Stars, which are awarded annually by the Michelin Guide to the establishments and chefs that stand out for their quality, creativity, service and dedication when preparing their gastronomic creations.

In general, Michelin Stars tend to increase the offer of establishments and generate more demand, which leads to menu proposals with prices far from the median. This is confirmed by a study carried out by the American platform Chef's Pencil, which has carried out an exhaustive search, comparing and analyzing the prices of 450 Michelin starred restaurants in the whole world.

The result is a classification of the 15 restaurants with the most expensive tasting menus on the planet. A large part of those classified are Asian restaurants, mainly from Japan and China, and also European, where we can find a total of 7 establishments, with a Spanish project heading the list. However, in the United States, we can only find 1. Below is the complete list of restaurants.

1. Sublimotion, Ibiza (Spain)

With a menu of 1,517 euros, in the first place, we find Sublimotion. It is an authentic immersive show that seeks to maximize the pleasure of sitting at the table to enjoy the gastronomy and the show. Thanks to virtual reality, you can visit a dozen different spaces and places without leaving your chair and enjoy a combination of music, light, projections and surprising settings. Currently, the restaurant does not have any Michelin stars, but its head chef (and one of its founders), Paco Roncero, has two.
