A new year begins, and with it a brand new calendar full of gastronomic events in which numerous activities, contests and presentations will be organized, that will be enjoyed both in hybrid and face-to-face format.

Although the health situation at the moment is uncertain and there are events such as the Ambiente Frankfurt that had to be cancelled at the last minute, we must believe that the state of covid-19 will gradually improve and that the main gastronomic events will be held normally.

As for the trends of this 2022, everything indicates that interest in sustainability will continue to grow, as well as social responsibility, healthy eating, the implementation of materials that avoid the use of plastics, and the reduction of the carbon footprint; all with the aim of creating a gastronomy that is friendly with the environment.
