Gaston Acurio, the most renowned Peruvian chef of recent times, will be in the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona hotel from the 15th of April until the end of October of this year. The hotel already works with two big names from the world of gastronomy; Carme Ruscalleda, who runs the restaurant Moments, and Ángel León with Bistreau. Between them, they hold a total of 9 Michellin stars. Whilst the first consists of gardens, the second is the hotel's roof terrace, which offers privileged views over Barcelona. In the Mimosa Garden space, covering 660m2, during the day and in the evening until 8pm, guests will be able to sample a casual, easy-going, fresh menu with quality products and using innovative techniques. From 8pm, on the Terrat, a more sophisticated menu will be available. The night will continue with cocktails and live music until well into the night, with an atmosphere perfectly in line with the luxury and sophistication of the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona. It's not the first time the Peruvian chef will have come into contact with this hotel chain; he first worked with them in a hotel in Miami, managing the El Mar restaurant in 2014. It's not even his first time in Barcelona, as he opened the restaurant Tanta in 2012, bringing Peru's gastronomy to the city of Barcelona. At Pordamsa, this news is music to our ears as we work closely with the Hotel Manadrin Oriental Barcelona project to enable them to offer their guests unique, creative, quality experiences.
