restaurante lido

Contemporary Italian restaurant Lido 84, belonging to brothers Riccardo and Giancarlo Camanini, received the recognition of the Miele One to Watch 2019 Award by the Worlds 50 Best Restaurants organisation.

The Miele One to Watch 2019 Award will be presented to the Camanini brothers on the 25th of June during the presentation gala of the World's 50 Best Restaurants List in Singapore. This award recognises the emerging international talent of a restaurant that, despite not forming part of the list of the world's 50 best restaurants, has all the potential to rise through the ranks and soon be amongst the 50 best. Don't forget that Lido 84 recently reached the tenth position on the list of Europe's 100 Best Restaurants 2019, according to the guide by OAD (Opinionated About Dining).

"We are very surprised and did not expect such a sought-after recognition on an international level" - Chef Riccardo Camanini

The restaurant Lido 84, located on the shore of Gardo lake in the North of Italy, stands out for its harmonious gastronomy and the beauty of its décor and the surrounding area.

One of the restaurant's star dishes is its Rigatoni cacio e pepe in vescica di maiale. A classic dish that has become the excuse of many travellers to take a break and eat at the restaurant. The peculiar feature of this creamy, aromatic dish is that the rigatoni pasta is cooked inside a pig's bladder with sheep's cheese and the juices of the bladder itself.
